History & Affiliations

Panola County Gun Club was founded in 1987 by Ben Sepaugh and Wilburn Spiller as a highpower rifle competition range. Since 2019 it is owned and managed by its members. The Club is also the home range of the Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA) Service Rifle Team. They currently hold 12 national rifle team championship titles as well as numerous individual national championship titles. The TSRA Service Rifle Championship Trophy is named after a PCGC member who worked tirelessly to promote Texas Service Rifle shooting on a national level. Finally, several members of the U.S. National Rifle Team also call PCGC their home range.

Panola County Gun Club is proudly affiliated with the following organizations who support and defend our Constitutional Rights to own firearms, promote firearm safety, and marksmanship training and competition programs.
